Building a New Shop
Back in 2016 the shed behind our shop got a makeover, it served it's purpose for 3 1/2 years, but as they say, out with the old, in with the new. With additions to our staff and a rapidly increasing workload we decided it was time for a change.
After 32 years in business, Parmer's Automotive is expanding it's working space capacity. In October 2019, demolition of the shed behind our main building began. It took just two weeks to tear it down, and remove the materials.
By mid-December 2019, a brand new shop building stood in it's place. The new shop is still currently under construction, with the insulation just finished as we wait for concrete. The building is a three door, six bay shop, with an attached storage shed.
Once fully completed the new shop will have the capacity to host six to nine vehicles at a time. The layout also makes it possible to pull in full size school buses, semi trucks, fire trucks and more, making it easier for our technicians to work on these larger vehicles.
The new shop is already in use to some degree, though we except it to be fully complete by March 2020.
